This is a prestigious long-term visa that grants foreign nationals the right to reside in the country, as well as a number of additional benefits.
- Investment in property: purchase of property worth at least AED 2,000,000.
- Business investment: starting or participating in a company in the UAE with a minimum eligible investment. Investors who have invested at least AED 2 million of their own capital in an investment fund accredited in the UAE or in an operating commercial or manufacturing enterprise in the country. Investors who pay at least AED 250,000 annually to the UAE budget can also apply for a visa.
- Startup Investment: Support for innovative projects or startups registered in the UAE with a proven track record of investment.
- Scientific and research excellence: Scientists, researchers and professionals in science and technology who can make a meaningful contribution to the country's development.

- Highly skilled professionals: professionals with rare and sought-after skills in all fields, such as medicine, engineering and information technology.
- In 2025, the UAE will have a Golden Visa programme for yacht owners called Golden Quay. The Golden Visa is open to owners of yachts of 40 metres or more, as well as key executives and investors in the yachting industry, including co-owners of maritime companies and service providers to the luxury yachting sector.
- Long-term residency (this type of visa allows you to stay in the UAE for 10 years with the possibility of renewal).
- Gold visa holders can become sponsors for their relatives: spouse, children and parents.
- The ability to leave the UAE for any period of time as long as the visa is valid.
- The visa provides full access to many services in the UAE (opening a bank account, access to healthcare, education, employment opportunities and freedom of movement).
- The right to sponsor an unlimited number of family workers (housekeepers, nannies, drivers, cooks) with substantially similar privileges is granted.
